Clinical Custom Facial, 60 min. $125 - On this visit, your facialist will evaluate your skin and design a custom treatment with our professional treatment line for you depending on any new concerns or seasonal changes in your skin. This treatment also includes a customized advanced peel and a blended masking treatment. With added acupressure points and healing touch aid in relaxing your nervous system while manual facial massage helps to awaken your lymphatic and circulatory network, assisting in lymph drainage.

This facial Includes a chemical or enzyme (or both) best suited for your skin at the time of your visit, what this means-

 

A light chemical peel just removes the outer layer of the skin (epidermis), which results in a healthier glow by lightly exfoliating the skin.

 

Common chemical peels consist of a combination of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, maleic acid and lactic acid. Prior to applying the chemical peel, the face is cleaned. The chemical peel is applied to the skin for several minutes. It is washed off and neutralized minutes later. Clients may experience some temporary redness and irritation right after a chemical peel, but this tends to disappear after a few moments, rest assured your aesthetician is well versed in these advanced services to illicit the best results possible!

 

Teen Facial, 45 Min. $95 (for 16 years & under)  What Are the Benefits of a Teen Facial? For teens in particular, facials will help clean out blackheads and clogged pores caused by oil production. Proper skincare products used at home will be throughly discussed as well as teaching good habits with skicare routines. They learn healthy skin care habits while we help combat teenage acne flareups due to hormonal changes, spots and well....they are teenagers.... Our aesthetician's will also stress to your teens to learn to refrain from picking & popping. Micro-planing Facial, 75 Min $175 ​ - Our unique combination of a microdermabrasion treatment accompanied by dermaplaning and an enzyme/lactic acid peel. Great to freshen up dull skin and leaving it with a fuzz free glow! Includes everything listed for the clinical facial as well as dermaplaning & microdermabrasion.

 

Cabernet Advanced Red Wine Resveratrol Facial Peel, 30min $150 - ​Cabernet peel is a powerful peel we offer here at The Avondale Spa.  As we work with you creating healthier skin barriers, . Resveratrol is the main ingredient in this treatment and good for ANY skin condition or type. Resveratrol works on a cellular level to fight the process of aging by stimulating healthy cell proliferation. It supports fibroblasts (fibroblasts secrete collagen proteins that help maintain the structural framework of tissues.) along with creating healthy collagen as well as it  interrupts negative environmental influences and protects against UV damage. Cabernet peel slows aging, reduces redness, evens skin discoloration and hydrates. Like other stronger chemical peels, some dryness and flaking can occur when the old skin is shed and the live, fresh layers come forward ( shedding depends on amount of damage and inflammation​ you have at the time of your appointment.)

Dermaplaning - $30 It painlessly exfoliates the stratum corneum to stimulate cellular turnover with little to no downtime.

It is a great option for clients with sensitive skin and pregnant women who are looking for a deep exfoliation.

Our aestheticians perform this prior to treatments like facials, microdermabrasion & chemical peels for better product penetration. It also helps makeup go on smoother and more evenly. It can help significantly lighten postinflammatory scars from old acne. And to answer the never ending question - does NOT make the hair grow back thicker and darker, just an amazing glow until your next visit with us!  

 

Microdermabrasion- $25 

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive treatment to gently remove the rough uneven outer layer of the skin. It rejuvenates the skin and is effective in treating sun damage, light scarring, skin discoloration and stretch marks.

 Hydro Jelly Mask - $20 The key benefit in these Hydrojelly Masks is the infusion of electrolytes: Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium, Chloride , Phosphorous, Bicarbonate, and Sodium Pyrophosphate. Gua Sha Massage - $20 Gua Sha is a traditional Eastern asian practice that translates in english to “scraping the pain away”. This practice has been adapted from a full body vigorously detoxifying treatment to a beautifying relaxing ritual for the face, neck and dècolletage. Healing crystal stones are gently stroked across the skin to encourage lymphatic flow, increase circulation, and smooth and lift the skin.  

                                                                

Cold Stone De-Puff & Lifting Massage - $20 It effectively treats inflammation, redness and facial tension lines. The cold has a very soothing effect on the delicate skin of the face and neck. The icy marble stone massage will lift and firm your face, adding to the overall results of any facial.

 

Facial Cupping -$20 ​Facial cupping is meant to increase blood circulation and stimulate the facial cells that are responsible for collagen production. In turn, this can brighten your skin, minimize the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles,and tone your chin, jawline, and neck by decreasing puffiness.
